Ishtiaque Sadeque is a prominent figure in the sports fraternity of Bangladesh, known for his remarkable contributions both as a sportsman and as an administrator. He has played a vital role in running various organisations that have not only created job opportunities for numerous people but also contributed massively to the welfare of society.

He is the son of Abdus Sadeque, a former Bangladeshi field hockey and football player who represented Pakistan and Bangladesh, and was the first captain of the national hockey team of independent Bangladesh — a legacy of sport that Ishtiaque carries forward through everything he builds.
